A Perfect Day

Again, another random thing.
No, it's not meant to be lovey dovey.
It can either be a couple, friend, sibling thing, parent-child, really anything.

A perfect day,
Is when the skies are blue,
The sun shines warmly down,
At me and you.

The day has no mishaps,
We can do whatever we want,
As long as you're here with me,
I'll face any taunt.

A perfect day with golden leaves,
Trees whispering about you and me,
You smile as I run to and fro,
Chasing those leaves of gold.

A chilly day, yet perfect in it's kind,
I build a snowman, while you plow,
Then suddenly, a surprise attack!
You laugh and throw a snowball back.

The bees are humming lazily, doing their work in the warm spring,
We wander amongst flowers of colors and grasses of green,
It's a fine, spring day, everything is anew,
I love being here with you.

Laying down in the sweet, emerald grass,
We talk about other days that have passed,
This day of happiness, unblemished by anger or despondency,
You and me, in a perfect day.

Just smiling,
Smiling at life,
And everything else.

Not bad, as I would say. Then again, the ending sucked.
